SCAHU’s primary concern is for the health and well-being of its members and those who are participating in its Annual Symposium and Senior Market Summit, scheduled for later this month. With this as our primary focus, the organization’s leadership has been meeting over the past few weeks to monitor the emerging and rapidly evolving situation with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The leaders met today and decided to postpone the meeting until June 16-17, 2020, in our effort to keep everyone safe.
The June meeting will be held at its original venue: University of South Carolina Alumni Center in Columbia. The Alumni Center has been great to work with, and its highest priority is also for everyone’s safety. June 16 will be the Senior Market Summit and the June 17 will be the SCAHU Annual Symposium. We hope you will be able to join us for the June 16-17 event. If you are unable to attend and need to receive a refund please email email@example.com and we will provide a full refund.
For those agents who have signed up for the NAHU Medicare Certification program, we will offer a live web training. The instructor Maggie Stedt will still be conducting it and it will remain at the same date and time, Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 1:00-5:00PM. This event cannot be re-scheduled. NAHU will follow-up with each agent and provide you with web meeting details, workbooks and any other information that you need in order to take this course.
If you provide insurance services for South Carolina’s aging population, this conference is for you. Back by popular demand, SCAHU will hold its second Senior Market Summit in 2020. We are looking forward to an outstanding educational sessions and a medicare trade show. Five (5) CE units will be available.
