Operation Love In a Box

Donate Now!

Thank you to each and every member who donated to Operation Love in a Box at the SCAHU Fall Statewide Meeting on Aug. 31. Clebe McClary, who delivered a great leadership presentation, is the founder of Operation Love in Box along with his wife, Deanna. Non-perishable food and personal comfort/hygiene items donated to the McClary’s Operation Love in a Box project are sent to U.S. military personnel deployed around the world.

Your contributions from Aug. 31 were sent to a military unit involved in the recent attacks at Kabul Airport in Afghanistan. We wanted you to know that your contributions provided some comfort to those deployed overseas in this difficult time.

A special thank you goes to SCAHU President Jennifer Lowery. It was Jennifer’s vision to include the military in organized volunteer activities. The timing of this project with the events in Afghanistan allowed SCAHU to make an impact on the units and families affected by this tragedy. Thank you, Jennifer, for your leadership.
